Jun Tea Making Workshop

Come learn to make jun! Jun is a fermented probiotic beverage made with green tea and honey, often flavored with fruit, spices, and/or herbs. Jeannie Gerth, avid fermenter, from the Urban Permaculture Lab will demonstrate the jun making process from start to finish and have finished jun available to sample. You will take home a jun making kit with a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) and starter, green tea, and honey to brew your first 1/2 gallon of jun at home.
